Lance Attends Grueling King of the Hammers Off-Road Race

Lancaster based Lance Camper Mfg. Corp. attended the 2018 King of The Hammers off-road race last week, an event held annually in Johnson Valley, California and the largest event of its kind in North America. The unique format of this exciting race combines high-speed desert racing with the brutal equipment and suspension destroying nature of professional rock crawling.

“This amazing event is spectator friendly, drawing thousands of loyal off-road enthusiasts who camp in their RVs with family and friends and jump from spot to spot in their off-road transportation of choice as they take in the action” states Bob Rogers, Director of Marketing for Lance. “Jim Waters, Lance Marketing Coordinator, had a great time going from camp to camp handing out Lance swag to Lance owners and serving hot dogs from “Camp Lance” set high atop of Chocolate Thunder, one of the more popular yet tough to reach spectator viewing sites along the course,” adds Rogers.

Lance had several rigs on display during the race, including Aaron Wirth’s Lance 825 SEMA rig, a Lance 995 truck camper, the Hellwig/Lance 650 Rulebreaker SEMA rig, a Lance 1575 travel trailer, and a Lance 2612 Toy Hauler.
