Torklift GlowStep Add-A-Step Installation

A couple days ago we discovered that the Torklift GlowStep four-step model that we had ordered for our Wolf Creek 850 truck camper wasn’t long enough. After a rush order, we installed the Torklift Add-A-Step this evening.

Installation took about 1.5 hours. The directions were poorly written, but it wasn’t too hard to figure out what needed to be done. The directions did state that the step needs to be added to the middle, never at the top or bottom of the steps. The only tools that you will need for this installation are a couple socket wrenches. Installation was pretty easy once we figured out how to keep the washers in place before inserting the bolt.

After completing the steps, we drilled the mounting hole on the right side a tad bigger, so that it could fit a Gorilla lock. The lock should be a pretty good deterrent to theft.
