Tickets are now officially on sale for the 2027 Truck Camper Adventure Quartzsite Rally, and if last year’s turnout is any indication, this one is going to be huge. Scheduled for February 10-14, 2027, at the Roadrunner Wash BLM area south of Quartzsite, Arizona, the five-day gathering is expected to attract more than 400 truck campers and 700 people from across the United States and Canada. That would make the 2027 gathering our largest rally ever, surpassing the 375 truck campers that attended in February 2026. Hosted by Truck Camper Adventure, the annual event combines education, entertainment, camaraderie, and an emphasis on truck camper safety and the responsible use of America’s public lands.
As in previous years, the 2027 rally will feature a packed schedule of workshops and classes, contests, live music, vendors, a sponsored Saturday-night prize drawing, and our popular truck camper open house, where attendees can tour rigs and exchange ideas with fellow owners. We’ll also bring back the attendee-voted Top Rig competition, giving everything from elaborate expedition builds to beautifully restored classics and homebuilt campers a chance to shine. Kingstar Campers, Elevation Off Grid, Bowen Customs, and the Off-Road Safety Academy will headline the 2027 event, with additional sponsors and vendors expected to be announced as the rally approaches. Owners of hard-side and pop-up truck campers are welcome, along with truck toppers, camper shells, chassis-mounted campers, vintage campers such as Avions and Alaskans, and DIY builds.

Tickets for the entire five-day rally are just $50 and, importantly, are sold by camper, not by person. One $50 registration admits one truck camper and up to six family members and includes one ticket for the Saturday-night prize drawing. One-day passes will also be available for $25, although one-day attendees will not be eligible for the Saturday-night drawing, and last-minute walk-ins will be welcome. Check-in begins at noon on Wednesday, February 10. Those who registered for the 2026 rally but were unable to attend at the last minute should contact Truck Camper Adventure at mellomike62@gmail.com for complimentary admission to the 2027 event.
Of course, what makes the Quartzsite Rally special isn’t simply its size or the number of activities packed into five days. It’s the people. Truck camper owners tend to be an independent and adventurous bunch, and the rally provides a rare opportunity to bring hundreds of rigs and their owners together in one place. Some attendees will arrive in brand-new campers loaded with the latest technology, while others will roll into camp with vintage rigs that have been exploring the backcountry for decades. Mixed among them will be everything from simple weekend setups to elaborate off-grid builds designed for months on the road.

That variety is a big part of the fun. Few places offer a better opportunity to see how other truck camper owners travel, organize their rigs, solve common problems, and modify their campers for life off-grid. Walk through camp and you’re likely to find conversations about solar systems, lithium batteries, suspension upgrades, flatbeds, recovery gear, Starlink, favorite boondocking destinations, and just about every other truck camper topic imaginable. More importantly, the rally gives attendees a chance to put faces to names, renew old friendships, and make new ones around campfires beneath the Arizona desert sky.
Like previous TCA gatherings, the 2027 Quartzsite Rally will be a true boondocking event, with no hookups at the rally site. Attendees should arrive with full fresh-water tanks, empty waste tanks, and everything needed to camp comfortably on public land for several days. A limited number of portable toilets will be provided near the class and activity areas for convenience. Located about 6 miles south of Quartzsite at the same Roadrunner Wash location used for previous rallies, the site puts attendees close to RV suppliers, propane, potable water, dump stations, fuel, restaurants, and other services while still providing plenty of room to spread out in the Arizona desert. With five days of truck campers, classes, vendors, prizes, music, and hundreds of fellow enthusiasts, the 2027 Truck Camper Adventure Quartzsite Rally is shaping up to be our biggest—and most ambitious—gathering yet.
