On January 14, 2016 we began using a new newsletter plugin called MailPoet to send emails to Truck Camper Adventure subscribers. The old newsletter plugin, called Jetpack, simply wasn’t cutting it. What this means going forward is that Truck Camper Adventure subscribers will receive a better looking, more functional email newsletter in their email inboxes. As part of this change, we are now using a new email address created specifically for our newsletters, newsletter@mellomikeadventures.us. It’s recommended that you add this email address to your address book to ensure that future emails are not sent to your spam folder and missed.
And speaking of spam, we have also changed the frequency of our emails. Instead, of sending an email on Mondays and Thursdays, immediately when new articles are posted, we will be sending an email with the subject line “Truck Camper Adventure Issue #” on Thursdays only. We hate email spam as much as anybody. Some websites like to consistently flood our email inboxes with two or three emails a week just so they can get more page views on their website. In our opinion, this is annoying. We can go back to two postings a week, if the demand is there, but there would have to be an overwhelming majority who hold that opinion to go back. Please let us know. And, of course, as has always been our policy, we will never sell our email lists to third parties. We value privacy here at Truck Camper Adventure. Thanks.
Help!…how do I unsubscribe from your email newsletter…was subscribed way back, then unsubscribed, then about a year ago the Thursday email letter started showing up in my inbox. When I hit unsubscribe it goes to a signin page, but I am not a registered subcriber so seems no way to unsubscribe!!…grrr, dang computers just don’t understand sometimes!
