Happy New Year, everyone! I want to take this time to thank you, our long-time readers, and to you who’ve recently joined us. Because of you, the year 2015 proved to be a big one for Truck Camper Adventure and we are aiming for an even bigger and better 2016. Of course, one of the most significant changes in 2015 was to the website’s identity. Last July the site grew and evolved from a simple blog to an online magazine for the off-road truck camper enthusiast. This probably wasn’t a surprise to many of you, the site’s content has pretty much been “magazine-ish” from the start. Unlike before with the blog, however, the articles under the Truck Camper Adventure banner will be written not only by me, but also by you, the readers. Just as significant was the switch from the archaic Google Blogger platform to the much more robust WordPress. This change brought a better website theme (MH Magazine) with a homepage, improved navigation, more features, and enhanced functionality.
Welcome to Our New Sponsors
We also want to take this time to recognize Truck Camper Adventure’s latest sponsors: Timbren Industries, Ecocamel, Fantastic-Vent, Renogy Solar, Morningstar Corporation, and Lifeline Batteries. I’m sure most of these companies are recognizable to you, they are some of the top names in the RV and solar industries. If they aren’t familiar, click on the banners to the right and check them out. Reviews of some of their products will be forthcoming in the coming months, so stay tuned. Did someone say, “solar suitcase?”
A Call for Writers and Reviewers
Truck Camper Adventure needs articles and reviews from you. We’re particularly interested in truck and truck camper reviews, but articles on any related topic including modifications, trip reports, gear, clothing, and emergency prep are also welcome. As a start-up venture, we can’t pay for your service yet, but you’ll gain the satisfaction of seeing your article presented professionally in a way that can help and inspire others. As the author, you can be assured that you’ll have complete control of your content, the only edits we will make will be those that you ask for and to conform to the AP style of writing. If writing an article interests you, contact us by clicking on the Contact Us tab at the top or bottom of the page.
Attention, Truck Camper Manufacturers
Truck Camper Adventure is all about off-road, overland expedition types of truck campers–hard-side, pop-up, long-bed or short-bed, it doesn’t matter. We love to spotlight new truck campers, especially off-road capable models like Lance’s brand new 650. If you’d like to see one of your truck camper builds appear in our regular “In the Spotlight” feature contact us by clicking on the Contact Us tab at the top or bottom of the page. These articles are provided at no cost to you and are written for the benefit and education of our readers. In addition, if you have news about a new camper or truck camper related product, let us know and we’ll be happy to publish it in our newly launched Industry News category.
Mike, congratulations on the success of your magazine! This is great news. Well done!
Thanks, Dan. And thanks again for your photo assists. 🙂
