In celebration of Earth Day, Four Wheel Campers, in collaboration with Friends of Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, will be hosting a two-day event on Friday April 22 and Saturday April 23, consisting of habitat restoration, trash removal, and fence mending.
Volunteers are invited to enjoy the natural beauty of this stunning landscape, while improving the ecosystem of the wildlife refuge for both plants and animals. The wildlife includes mule and pronghorn deer, foxes, jackrabbits, javelina, tortoises, skunks, roadrunners, among many others. Volunteers will be provided a campground space, supplemental food and drinks, and tools. For more details, and to register as a volunteer, please check out the EventBrite event page here. The event is being organized and led by Elizabeth Brentano.
While this event is being sponsored by Four Wheel Campers, any one with a truck camper (or a tent for that matter) can volunteer for this Earth Day event.
As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, Four Wheel Campers wants to help preserve these special places. With the help of volunteers and partners we are committed to ensure our public lands are healthy for the next 50 years. We look forward to working with some amazing nonprofits in California and Arizona, with projects ranging from trash removal to trail crew work.
