One sentence in the article on the rollover in the last issue caught my eye, which, “my wife had suffered a mild concussion from loose debris that was in the back seat that ended up flying around and hitting her.”
I would suggest readers take the time to look carefully in the back seat next time you hit the road and think about what you’ve got stored back there. Is it something that will give you a “mild concussion” or is it something that will take your head off? Remember that the author of this article describes it as low speed and then think about if it had been at highway speeds. We’re very, very glad it wasn’t worse than it was!
There is a simple and inexpensive fix. See our forum entry on “Backseat Cargo Safety”. No, we don’t work for the company.
