ParticipantI was wondering if anyone had any info on a Tourneau cover that can be installed that can easily be removed when installing my Lance 825; OR, one that can be installed permanently that would not get in the way of the installed unit.
tks

ParticipantDiamondback – 10 minutes to remove if you’re really slow.
15 minutes to re-install if you’re a klutz. If you’re a
real klutz and don’t read the instructions you can do serious
damage to the hinges if you take the lids off or put them on
wrong. It’s good to be a n00b - so I can aspire to be just stoopid.

ParticipantNot sure if you are looking for a soft or hard cover. If considering soft, with some of the snap-ons, you can either roll it forward or take it off in a minute or so. With the standard roll-ups, the rails for the cover takes up too much width at the tail gate to clear the truck camper so they require removing the rail, which is kind of a pain. I have a standard roll-up and can not load our Northstar without removing the rails.

InactiveI have a Truxedo Deuce. It is a soft top that not only rolls up completly from the rear but has a hinge that allows it to be folded back from the bed at the cab. That folding feature is especially nice to get items that tend to shift from the back of the bed toward the cab.
Unfortunately the rails make it too narrow to easily load the camper and too high for safe clearance.
It is easily removed and reattached with only four clamps on each rail.
