We upgraded to a 2500 from a 1500 for our little pop-up camper and I have to buy new mounts for the front. Torklift doesn’t make front mounts for our truck with running boards and we have running boards that my wife needs to get into the truck. As I see it the running boards might be in the way. Anyone have any experience with camper mounts on a 2014-2018 chev 2500, extended cab with a 6.5′ box?

If Torklift doesn’t make Tiedowns for the front of your rig because of the running boards check out Happyjack.
Since you have a relatively lightweight camper that type of support for the front end would probably work out OK.
      Good luck.

I called torklift today and they do make mounts for the truck but you have to trim about 4″ off the running board. You have to order mounts for a truck without the running boards. It was my lucky day because they were on sale and when I hesitated ordering them they offered me an additional 10% off so I squeezed the trigger. Sale ends Feb 8th.

Not sure. I had Torklifts on my Dodge 2500 with extended cab (not 4 door) and installed, I think, Steel Horse full length running boards. IIRC, the front Torklifts were held on with U-bolts and could be moved some. They fit mine with no problem.
