      Hello and thanks for the great site. I bought the Laredo from what I learned here!
      I would like advice on what type on surge protection I need.
      I plan to add solar panels also.
      Looking for recommendations on EMS/surge protection.

      Having had both Progressive and Surge Guard, I regard them as comparable. Both have excellent reputations and manufacturer support.
