KeymasterSomehow, someway gnats and mosquitoes are getting inside the camper at night. I’m not sure how, but they are. They could be getting in through the refrigerator flue, which has large openings, or around the screen assemblies in the Sietz windows. Either way, the problem is annoying. I’m curious to know if others are experiencing a similar problem with their Seitz windows.

KeymasterI received an email from a reader who owns a Cirrus 920 truck camper. Apparently, nuCamp has a seal kit to address the bug infiltration issue with these windows. If you’re a Cirrus camper owner you’re in luck, if you’re not, you may or may not be able to get this kit. I’m waiting on a response from Seitz/Dometic. Here’s a pic of what the Cirrus seal kit looks like.

Participantardvark-
The part number from NuCamp is 66-00-5054. It is sold by the foot and the description is Brush/Pile Weatherstripping W11mm x H13mm. Hope this helps.

ParticipantThere is plenty of brush/pile weatherstripping on the Internet. I wonder how critical the exact size is?

KeymasterI would try and get as close as possible to what nuCamp is using.
