ParticipantBack with another question, since everyone was so helpful before.
I have a 2017 f350 diesel fx4 drw, full time with a 2020 northern lite 9.6 in the bed. Loaded weight is ~4000 lbs, payload sticker 5310. I am looking for suggestions on replacement shocks. As good or better than the Rancho 9000 that came stock, while still being relatively affordable. I do light offroading (fire trails, NF roads, and desert washboards). Not sure if I should be looking at shocks in the offroad or tow/haul category due to the weight. Thanks in advance.

ParticipantIt is my understanding the Ranchos that come stock on Fords are a special Ford version and not comparable to those purchased after-market.

ParticipantI have a 2019 Ford F350 CCLB SRW and I have the Fox 2.0 shocks all around. They are a bit softer than the Bilstein 5100’s I had on my last truck. Carrying an AF 990 all good.
