ParticipantI am looking for a company that builds custom units. Basically, I do not want a bathroom, water heater or a dinette. I had a 2010 FWC Hawk shell with custom options which I liked but for the popup roof, haha. I just sold a Tiger/Ram RV with bells & whistles and too many hassles. All I want is a hard side slide-in cab over camper with a few options and 4-season build qualities. I have the knowledge but do not want to build my own(ideal) @ 70 yrs of age. New composit shell Euro designs are very interesting.

ParticipantCheck out Bundutec. I believe he is a year out on builds, similar to other builders.

ModeratorBundutecUSA is the place to go for custom work on a TC. I had some custom work done on my order with them, no problem whatsoever getting what I wanted.

ParticipantThanks for replies. Looks like popups is all I saw on their site. I’m just not interested in popups. BTDT

They make hard sides. In fact Mellow Mike has one.

ParticipantWe had a custom build at Phoenix Popup, AKA Coyote RV. http://www.phoenixcampers.com/ They do everything, hard-side, pop-up, rag-tops. We could not be happier with our custom rig which sounds about as spartan as what you are thinking of. Contact me off-forum if you would be interested is seeing our rig in detail.

ParticipantEmailed Bundutec. My thoughts of a custom truck camper have been cut short by delivery dates. I’m watching for something used, looks likely to be a short 2wd motorhome and I’ll continue to tow a scout vehicle. Thanks for replies, Cheers
