Home › Forums › Truck Camper Adventure Forum › How to read the FD-305 truck camper weight sticker?
Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to read the camper weight sticker (FD-305?) that many truck camper manufacturers use on their truck campers.
My confusion is the use of ‘commas’ in the sticker. If I read it with commas, then the weight shown includes the standard equipment plus the weight of the fresh water, plus the weight of the propane and bottles? So, a kind of weight wet?
Or am I reading too much into the ‘commas’, and the weight shown is just the dry weight with standard equipment? The weight shown would not include and water weight or propane weight, let alone battery weight, etc.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Dave Wheeler
