ParticipantI am using the Torklift Lock and Load as model for the generator mount I am fabbing to go on our front bumper. I know some of you have your genny leading the way.
How often do you take it off the truck and leave it with the camper. We will be taking our camper off quite a bit in the coming months and are trying to decide whether the genny should stay chained to one leg of the camper or stay with the truck. It seems there would be advantages both ways.

ModeratorArd,
When we take the genny, which is seldom, I always keep it in the back seat of the truck when not in use. We never remove the camper while on a trip but if we did I would use a bicycle cable lock to keep it on site.

KeymasterWe rarely bring the genny with us, but when we do we leave it connected to the Torklift Lock and Load.
