Do you flat tow a passenger vehicle with your rig? What supplemental breaking system do you use?

I flat tow a TJ Jeep Wrangler. No supplemental braking system, but if I did, I’d use the Brake Buddy. Simple and easy to use.

Sorry forgot I don’t use any supplemental breaking device. Engine brake and tranny does great in the mountains.

Cool looking setup, Bear. What size tires are on your Cherokee?

Sorry to revive an old post but just an FYI. Most states require a supplemental braking system in the toad. It can be a sticky situation if you are involved in a accident and don’t have one. I know with many of today’s trucks it may seem like you don’t need it but the difference in braking is significant. Not to mention if the toad separates from the truck it will stop itself.
