If you charging your tc batteries from your truck alternator do you need a dc-dc charger or just a solenoid when charging AGM batteries
It’ll take a bit more scavenging to determine that…
First you’ll need to determine the AGM battery manufacturer’s recommended charging specs, and second you’ll need to know what kind of available charge voltage you have at your vehicles 7 pin connector as well…Realize that there will be an additional slight amount of voltage drop (depending on wire run length and AWG gauge) between the vehicles 7 pin connector while enroute to the battery… Here’s a link to help understand the pin functions of the 7 pin plug:
