      Hello all.

I want to check my tire pressure and I started to wonder, do I check the tire pressure with the camper installed, or should I lift the camper off the truck and check tire pressure unweighted?

      Thanks in advance.

I have a Ram 3500 and the sticker says to run 60 front and 80 rear when cold. When the camper is on the truck, I run the tires at those PSI’s on pavement. When offroad (with the camper) and when the camper is off the truck, I usually drop tire pressure to 50 front and 70 rear (again cold). Otherwise, unloaded it’s a pretty rough ride.

So, to answer your question, I check tire pressure with the camper loaded and unloaded but run them at different PSI.

      Cheers
