ParticipantGood review article so here a a few mods which I added to suit my MTB trips. I drove to the USA and bought it new in 2018 at a great price to get me in the game , with no duty coming back to Canada since its just cargo . Added futon couch which folds to mattress with storage underneath for grey water and second Agm battery . 100 watt solar which keeps batteries well topped up even with air fryer running for over 20 minutes on 3000 watt invertor, Honda 2200 generator stored behind passenger seat just in case. Closet rebuilt to fit cartridge toilet, plus lots of hidden space in the backs of cupboards and some rebuilt and resized for more storage .Fabricated an adjustable table .Single mattress up top only when needed and storage doors under mattress split into 2 for easier opening. Fabricated hitch system for steps, Dewalt storage box on end and bike rack. Wet weight at 2150 lb plus extra person, clothes and food. 2014 Ford f150 5L 8ft box 3:73 payload 2150 but added 2 extra leaf springs and changing out Timbrin.
Pop up Top usually kept in down position when I’m by myself for quick over night stops or in winter since 5’3″ inside height and plenty of room to move around without fully standing up .
Next mods will be level the counter top and change out the inside and outside taps to better quality .Attachments:
