Way to go Mike! I have that icom. Had it in my car for a long time, then brought it inside as I have a 2m vertical on top of the tower at about 45′. I’m about 50 miles south of Columbus, Ohio and can get the repeaters up there without any trouble. Get after upgrading! I stopped with Advance, but may consider extra. IDK, it’s been about 20+ years.
