Here it is 6 months later and I don’t use the line anymore either. I have exactly 1&1/2 inch clearance between the wheel wells and just use that. Slow and a couple of stops to check I’m still straight. I am anal though, if I am off by a half inch I lift and re-position with the wedges I made.
