Anything you do to upgrade your truck will upgrade the performance of that truck. You will not raise the weight rating, which is determined on the drawing board. You can build what you want and it will perform better than stock if you do it right. You see there is no straight answer lol.
I got a one ton thinking I wouldn’t have some of your issues. I have them anyway because these campers are heavy. You have the right tires! Those will be my next ones.
