From my friend’s experience:
The composting toilet in the truck camper is better than a flush toilet because he doesn’t need to waste a lot of freshwater on it. He has an Airhead unit in his camper and he is very happy with it. The liquids bottle is easy to access and empty, a simple matter of loosening 2 wingnuts and pulling out. No mess or spillage. So, he would recommend installing a composting toilet.
