Thanks Steve for a great opportunity for some very important discussion. The people here in California have voted for some truly foolish laws governing this topic. Without getting into a rant I would simply suggest you contact the NRA. Having a clear understanding of your rights and obligations is essential when it comes to fire arm transport. The laws from state to state very, so make sure your safe and compliant in every state you visit.
