Jay,
Trust me brother when I say this, you are the smart one. I think anyone who attempts this install on a long bed 2011-2016 SRW F350 must be a glutton for punishment. I made three calls to Hellwig while dealing with this and I guarantee you they have not idea how to actually install this sway bar. What they suggest is pure fantasy, period! Now having finished the install I fully understand why folks are going with Roadmaster sway bars on this model truck instead of Hellwig. Install with Roadmaster would be a fraction of the time Hellwig takes.
You can watch all the YouTube you want on this bar, but there is not a single one I could find showing how to get the hourglass bar off on the driver’s side. They all show short beds. If Mike wants I will write this up and I did take pictures, but you will need way more tools than the tool list in the instructions, and when you see what I finally decided to do, you will shake your head.
The single exception I would note here is if you are willing to drop your fuel tank this would be a no-brainer, but who the heck wants to do that?
