I’ll toss this out at the risk of raising controversy. I would discourage you from buying or planning to buy anything until you use your camper enough to establish you actual needs. Usage patterns vary widely and much of what I read in the forums would be useless for the way we use our camper here in Tennessee.

And despite impressions which might be gained from multiple comments on TC forums regarding battery discharge, batteries do not instantly die when discharged below 12-volts. I am not saying it is wise to intentionally discharge batteries to very low voltages. Yes, they will last longer if kept charged, but it is not below 12-volts and they’re gone.

Other than in cold weather camping when the furnace is engaged, I think you would be amazed how well we do on just our two AGMs and even though we might bring our genny along, we almost never use it and never use it when folks near us are tent campers or do not have a genny (just trying to courteous there). 🙂
