Ard,
Their always seems to be a period of adjustment with a new device. I have come to expect it. It often centers around the combining of the two big parts: truck and camper. It is rare that everything fits just right out of the box. We bought our Lance used, and the ace in the hole for us was it came off the same model and year Dodge truck that it was going on, thus eliminating any fitment problem. The only difference were the stairs. Orig. owner’s truck was 2WD. Ours was a 3″ lifted 4WD so I had to add a rung to the stairs to compensate. You hear the most griping about goods that have a lot of customers, just because of shear numbers. It is good that you had an eye to flexibility in the future.
