Life circumstances are forcing the sale of my rare 2016 Livin’ Lite/Ford 10.0 truck camper. The Ford edition campers were built by Livin’ Lite using their all aluminum and composite construction process, which makes them effectively immune to rot even if leaks develop over time since there’s no wood used in the camper body or frame. The Ford version got a special nose cap with automotive style windshield, a Ford branded interior, and a graphics package meant to complement Ford trucks. I bought the camper in early 2021 from the original owner and it’s in very good shape overall. Only a relative handful of Ford campers were built before Livin’ Lite was shut down by Thor, so this is a rare chance to buy a unique, high-quality aluminum camper.
This camper is designed for 8-foot, long-bed trucks and has a sticker weight of 3,058 pounds, which I found to be an accurate dry weight based on a CAT scale. A one-ton SRW or beefed up 3/4-ton at a minimum is needed to haul this camper. The interior floor-plan has a 6.5-foot long L-shaped bench rather than a dinette, which gives lots of seating space plus a more open feel to the interior.
Other features include the following:
- Four Seasons package with insulated windows and heated tanks
- Azdel lightweight wood-look cabinetry
- Rieco-Titan power jacks with remote
- Combination microwave / convection oven
- Two burner propane stove
- Two 20-pound standard BBQ style propane tanks
- Roof A/C
- Dometic electric/propane fridge
- Wet bath
- Fantastic fans in front, rear, and bath area
- North-south standard queen-size bed with Serta mattress (included at buyer’s option)
- Jensen AC/DC TV and stereo unit with Bluetooth and built-in DVD player
- New 12 volt marine/RV battery
- Ford-branded vinyl upholstery
- Folding table
- A full set of Torklift FastGun turnbuckles are included
There is a small area of the seat upholstery where it looks like the vinyl was somehow melted, and some of the plastic coating is flaking off the trim piece at the front end of the cabover. Both of the issues are visible in the gallery pics; otherwise, the interior is in very nice original condition.
The exterior is also in very good condition, with only the “Built Ford Tough” decal on the back (ironically) showing any noticeable aging or fading.
The camper is located in Black Hawk, Colorado about 30 miles west of Denver. We are asking $35,000, but we open to offers for a quick sale. Contact Jason at [email protected] for more info.
