The 2026 Truck Camper Adventure Quartzsite Rally is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet. Bob Wohlers, owner of Off Road Safety Academy (DiscoverOffRoading.com) will be onsite to provide training in the form of five uniquely different off-road clinics. The topics include off-road exploration, basic off-road survival, traction board recovery, kinetic energy recovery, and powered winching recovery. Off Road Safety Academy is a headline sponsor of the big, five-door event.
“These clinics are for everybody,” Wohlers told Truck Camper Adventure. “They are for seasoned off-road adventurers and for neophytes. I try to cover something for everybody with a focus on safety wrapped around knowledge, skills, and attitude.”
Bob Wohlers is a full-time 4WD Trainer and backcountry outfitter in the USA and is a Wilderness First Aid Instructor. He holds a MS degree in instructional design, a California state teaching credential, and a BS degree in biology. He has published three books for vehicle supported adventurers: Live Long to Wander—Basic Survival for Vehicle-Supported Adventures, Raising Your 4WD Vehicle Off Road and In-Field Tire Repair and The Total Approach to Getting Unstuck Off-Road—4WD Self-Recovery and Vehicle-Assisted Recovery.”

The upcoming Truck Camper Adventure Quartzsite Rally will take place at the Roadrunner Wash BLM Area, 6 miles south of Quartzsite, February 11-15, 2026. The five-day, outdoor event is shaping up to be the biggest and best one yet with 20 clinics and classes, thousands of dollars in prizes, live music, awards, and over a dozen headline vendors scheduled to be onsite.
