BREAKING: Adventurer Plans Reboot of Eagle Cap 1165 Triple-Slide Camper

Truck Camper Adventure has learned that Adventurer Manufacturing is bringing back the Eagle Cap 1165 triple-slide camper after putting the Eagle Cap brand on hold in 2022. According to our sources, the rebooted 1165 will roll under the Adventurer banner as the Adventurer 1165. We are told that the camper will incorporate the latest technology including lithium batteries, solar power, DC compressor refrigerators, induction cooking, and more.

One of the largest and best truck campers ever built, the bones of the 1165 will remain the same. The 1165’s layout features a dinette slide-out on the driver side, a sofa slide-out in the rear, and a kitchen slide-out on the passenger side with an island in the middle. As before, the Adventurer 1165 will feature a floor length of 11 feet 11 inches, a center of gravity of 61.5 inches, and a wet weight around 6,200 pounds. The camper will feature holding tank sizes of 60 gallons fresh, 41 gallons grey, and 41 gallons black.

Based in Yakima, Washington, Adventurer Manufacturing has been making truck campers and overland adventure vehicles since 1969. The company currently builds two brands of slide-in truck campers: the Adventurer and the Scout. The current Adventurer lineup includes the 65RB, the 80RB, the 86FB, the 89RB, the 89RBS, the 901SB, and the 910DB models. The brand-new Adventurer 65RB, which debuted at the 2025 Overland Expo West, will be hitting dealer lots soon.

This is a developing story. Stay tuned for more details as they become known.
